2019 Fall Passport

The Fall Passport is a five week program that promotes family bonding through a local adventure starting 9/21/2019 in Vernon Elementary School, Guilford Central School, Townshend Elementary School, Newbrook Elementary School and the Boys and Girls Club of Brattleboro. Each selected area will have points assigned a code and the students can hand in the passports through their schools, if the family obtains 12 points or more then they get entered into a grand prize drawing featuring local family friendly prizes. The prizes are featured inside the passport. These passports are distributed through the schools, home school groups and the Boys and Girls Club of Brattleboro and promoted to the students, teachers and parents to promote community resources and outdoor play spaces.

How it works

  • Have Fun! As a family, you can visit: Local Parks & Trails, Farmer’s Markets, gardens and Events or explore your own backyard.
  • Earn Points: each activity or location are assigned points that you can earn by writing down a code that you find or having a parent or guardian initial the activity at home.
    • Each time you earn 12 points you have a chance to go to the front desk to pick out a RiseVT prize.

How to win a grand prize

  • At the end of the challenge if you earn 25 points or more you can be entered into a raffle for a chance to win:
    • Family Season passes to the Brattleboro Ice Skating Rink
    • Family Snowshoe pack
    • $100.00 gift card to Sam’s Outdoor Outfitters.
  • Parents can win too! RiseVT wants to hear how it went by having you fill out a survey by visiting http://windham.risevt.org/survey or if you can request a paper copy at the front desk. If filled out by 11/1/2019 you could win a $50.00 gift card to Dutton’s Farm stand in either Newfane or West Brattleboro.

Good luck to all the future Rise Vermonters!
